Hello Everyone,
Today I want to introduce to you Watermelon! Watermelon is a very new tarantula species that currently doesn't have a common name (that I can find). Its scientific name is Sericopelma sp. Darien. This tarantula will have a deep black coloring and reach around nine inches. Just recently Watermelon has decided that we can view it which it very politely showed by digging its burrow up to the edge of its enclosure. This tarantula is about two to three inches at this time, and it still has its cute wrist bands. This tarantula is growing fast. We've only had if for a few months at it has already surpassed some of our tarantulas. We are so excited to have this tarantula be an ambassador for its species. We will be sure to share any information we have on this tarantula for anyone who is looking to get one.
