Introducing Serral!

eightleggedadventu

Hello Everyone,

Today I want to tell you about another beloved tarantula, Serral! Serral is a reclusive Orange Baboon Tarantula (Pterinochilus Murinus) also affectionately called an orange bitey thing. This speedy old-world tarantula doesn't live up to her species name. She has never been aggressive towards us, although she has been speedy on occasion. There was a time when the man in my life took her enclosure down to look at her, looked up for a moment and put her enclosure back. Moments later he had a Serral climbing across his face much to his disapproval. Since then, Serral has been informed she should remain in her enclosure, and she took that talking to to heart. She has since been happily building a very intricate tunnel and web network in her enclosure only emerging when a juicy cricket has been introduced to her enclosure. Serral has taken a place very near the top of our list (even though they tell you not to pick favorites).

Thanks for reading and happy adventuring!
