Introducing Houdini!

Hello everyone,

Today, I want to introduce to you one of my very beloved friends, Houdini! Houdini is a beautiful Venezuelan Suntiger (Psalmopoeus Irminia). Still a juvenile but has had two too many adventures for us. Houdini's first week in our care, made its first grand escape. Houdini was missing for two days before we started looking. We found it as a tiny little sling nestled into a cube storage below it. After a stern talking to Houdini was rehomed into an enclosure with smaller ventilation holes. A few months later when Houdini was reaching its juvenile stage, we rehomed it into a larger arboreal set up, which it promptly escaped within a couple of minutes. Despite the valiant attempt, this adventure was cut short again by us. He was recaptured within moments and returned to its old enclosure until a less escapable enclosure could be found. Since Houdini's last rehoming it has happily been building a dirt covered web tunnel up the side of its enclosure. Hopefully it will stay that way.

Thanks for reading and happy adventuring!
