Hello Everyone,
Today I would like to introduce Miss Olive Oil to you! She is a beautiful Trinidad Olive (Neoholothele Incei). When we picked up this species, we found them to be very cute and quirky. This is a species that brings a smile to my face every time we see them. The first time we saw Olive Oil she was coming out to hunt her meal. She emerged from her burrow slowly and patted her cricket down while she followed it around her cage. I like to believe she had a David Attenborough voice going on in her tarantula brain while she gently hunted down her pray. She is the gentlest tarantula that we have in our collection, and it is always a delight to see her with her beautiful pattern and coloration. It's unfortunate that Olive Oil is a shy tarantula, and we rarely see her, but she does seem to be a very content tarantula. She will need to be rehomed soon as she is molting and will no longer fit in her log when she is done. I will be sure to share a photo of her when we rehome!
Thanks for reading and happy adventuring!
