Hello Everyone,
Today I would like to introduce to you Merigold! Merigold is a Trinidad Chevron (Psalmopoeus Cambridgei). Right now, it has some lovely gold wrist bands, and we are so looking forward to the beautiful adult colorations it will have. This tarantula is a very reclusive lowland animal. It has elected to construct a burrow on its bark in its enclosure. It only comes out when there is food on the loose in its enclosure. We got this cute little critter to go along with our other Psalmopoeus tarantulas. When I was researching about that genius, I learned that they have capsaicin in their venom which I think is very interesting. That means they have spicy venom and I love that. This little tarantula is going to grow into a beautiful tarantula and we are so proud of Merigold.
